Hi, I'm Stacey. I set up 'A Butcher's Dog' in 2022 after talking and dreaming about running my own pet service business for a few years. Finally a dream which seemed so far away, turned into a reality and here I am today.

From when I was just a little girl, I have always had a passion for animals and love being around them, especially the canine variety! I have grown up with dogs in my life whether they have been my own, family, or neighbours and friends. I love each dog as if they were my own and truly understand and appreciate the overwhelming importance they have on our lives!

Previous to running my own business, I was a Primary School teacher. My teaching career began after I graduated from University, in Staffordshire, where I am originally from and is where I met my now husband. Two beautiful daughters later, we relocated back to his home county of Suffolk and found myself to be an official 'Butcher' once we married.  Following the pandemic, I decided to take the plunge and build a business on something I was passionate about.

In my spare time (whenever you can find any as a mum!) I enjoy eating out and listening to live music.

I completed my Level 3 training in Dog grooming & Salon Management in 2022 along with a Canine First Aid course. I am CRB checked and fully insured.
